Through Wilmot Dixon’s framework contract with Walsall MBC we have been appointed to undertake a £0.6m specialist slope stabilisation and remediation work to a dangerous rock slope in Walsall’s famous Arboretum. The arboretum lakes and boundary rock slopes were formed by the collapse of the limestone mine which had been worked beneath the area. the work involves; re-grading, rock scaling and removal of unstable slope materials, construction of gabions, rock anchors and slope netting.
